Throughout our history, popular music has been documented by the contributions of artists of Jewish heritage as well as non-Jewish musicians and songwriters who have been influenced by those who are starting with Irving Berlin, George S. Kaufman, George Gershwin and hundreds of others. Most of us usually think of the bigger-than-life entertainers such as Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Neil Sedaka, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond and Bette Midler. But, there is a surprising, much wider range and diversity of musical styles to explore.
Jews Who Rock: A Musical History Tour is organized by ArtVision Exhibitions, LLC of Boca Raton, Florida (www.artvisionexhibitions.com). Creating cultural collaborations between business, technology and art; ArtVision integrates comprehensive packaged exhibitions, educational components, entertainment, special events and historic image licensing. Over the past ten years, ArtVision has produced and organized over 100 major museum exhibitions for institutions worldwide.
