40th Anniversary of the Beatles First 1964 US Tour
Boca Raton, FL: Noted photojournalist Bill Eppridge who photographed the Beatles first US tour, and unpublished photographs from the CBS Photo Archive are combined in a new collectible photography book, The Beatles! Backstage and Behind the Scenes.
The book is being introduced in conjunction with the photography exhibition which magnifies a 1964 timeframeas the Fab Four won new North American audiences and revolutionized rock music at an unprecedented pace and was on view at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History from January 16, 2004 through January 2, 2005.
"These images depict the Beatles young, exuberant, always upbeat, and followed by throngs of fans who dreamed of becoming part of the group's skyrocketing story," said Eppridge.
